David Inman – Managing Member
Mr. Inman is the Principal and Founder of several companies affiliated with Investment Equity. He has lived in Las Vegas for the past 37 years and has been a commercial developer in Las Vegas for the last 23 years. Mr. Inman founded the company in 1984.
Mr. Inman has developed a wide range of commercial projects over the past 23 years, including office buildings, industrial parks, retail centers, apartment complexes, medical centers and mixed-use land.
As a commercial developer, Mr. Inman acquired, planned, designed and developed each of the properties, which included site improvements, shell construction and tenant improvements. He also handled the leasing and property management of the properties through an affiliated company.
Mr. Inman was previously a member of the Board of Directors of Capital Pacific Holdings, Inc. a publicly traded real estate development company, and is currently or has been a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks, the International Council of Shopping Centers, the Nevada Board of Realtors and the Nevada Development Authority.
Dale Dowers – Managing Member
Mr. Dowers has over 25 years of experience in the real estate industry and has managed the construction and finance of over 11,500 homes, 1,000 apartments and has managed over 1,000,000 square feet of commercial construction. He has been a fifty percent (50%) partner with David Inman since February 1999.
Prior to joining IE, Mr. Dowers was President and COO of Capital Pacific Holdings (“CPH”), previously known as the J.M. Peters Co. (“JMP”).
Mr. Dowers also built strong relations with CalPers, which included four joint ventures with a total of $103 million in residential sales. That led to an additional $100 million of joint venture funding during Mr. Dowers’ time at the company. He also forged a strong bond with Morgan Stanley, which produced a $100 million high yield debt offering that was completed in May 1994. As a requirement of the high yield offering a line of credit for $25 million with Bank One was put in place for additional liquidity and construction lending. This relationship with Bank One was established and maintained by Mr. Dowers. The credit line grew to $200 million.
During his tenure at CPH, Mr. Dowers was responsible for the construction of 5,471 homes, for total revenue of $1,078,935,000.
Mr. Dowers also held management positions at Southern California developer, Costain Homes, Inc., a homebuilding company, Barratt American, Inc. and served as Division President at J.M. Peters Co.
Frank R. Clark – Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Clark is responsible for all areas of Investment Equity accounting and finance, including cash management, sourcing and closing debt transactions, managing equity partner relationships, maintaining the accounting books.
Frank has over 30 years’ experience in finance and accounting in such areas of corporate accounting, audit, tax, budget and expense control and a strong background in Enterprise Resource Planning. Prior to joining Investment Equity, Mr. Clark was CFO for Direct Development, Inc., where he was responsible for handling the accounting and financial control functions including managing the accounts payable department, budgeting and planning, overseeing the use of the appropriate financial and administrative systems and processes throughout the company, and completing financial reporting. Frank was also intimately involved in projects and their financing.
Frank has a Bachelor’s Degree from Drake University and has his CPA in Iowa and Wisconsin.
Thomas M. Hart – Senior Vice President of Operations
Mr. Hart oversees and manages the construction of commercial projects through to completion, including estimating, budgets, bids, scope of work, subcontractor agreements and ongoing review and audit to maintain schedules and limit cost overruns.
Prior to Investment Equity, Mr. Hart was a Senior Vice President at Thomas and Mack for 10 years. He was responsible for project management and overall construction management operations for over 5.5 million square feet. Prior to that, at the Irvine Co. he was responsible for 7.5 million square feet for seven years as Project Director. He holds a Master’s degree in Education from Chapman College.
